The students love to play football...

…and to watch. Every time anything happened, these kids would flood onto the field screaming, and had to be shoved back by the players. It was almost mosh pitish.

Lisa brought a hula hoop, and the kids love that as well.

Two weekends back, Lisa was promised a chicken by our bean salesman in Mlandizi (25ish km east of Kwala), where we buy groceries. The next day, the headmaster (who lives in Mlandizi and commutes into Kwala each week) delivered the promised chicken. It actually turned out to be a rooster, but (to our delight), it's a very quiet one. It lives in our back yard and eats food scraps and bugs. I'll try to upload a picture of Lisa holding him later.

One of a billion adorable children I see around Kwala.

Tried my best to take a picture of a massive rainbow, but it failed. This was the best I could do. A week before, I saw a double rainbow, but didn't have my camera with me.

Last weekend, Lisa, her visiting sister Caren, and I went to Zanzibar. Here is a panorama from the boat as it plowed along the coastline.

Upon arriving on the west side of the island, we took a taxi to the east side. As we drove, we passed this very depressing looking housing. Not what I expected to see.

We finally reached our hotel. Here is the view from the porch...

…and here is a late sunrise panorama from the roof of our room...

…and the sunset from the beach, 20 meters from our room.

The next day, we went swimming with the dolphins. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to get a good picture of dolphins on a small point-and-shoot digital camera.

Here we are on the boat...

…and me and Lisa in the water...

…and Lisa on the boat.

Various boats in the harbor. I tried to get a picture of a boat christened "Crazy Glue" that was flying a pot-leaf flag, but it was gone by the time I pulled out my camera.

Lastly, a panorama from the dolphin boat, as we sailed along the island.
